Extra Credit; Making the classroom like kindergarten

"For today’s children, nothing is more important than learning to think creatively – learning to come up with innovative solutions to the unexpected situations that will continually arise in their lives"

"Instead of making kindergarten like the rest of school, we need to make the rest of school (indeed, the rest of life) more like kindergarten."

"In my mind, play and learning can and should be intimately linked."

I chose these three quotes because I strongly agree with all of them. My emphasis as a teacher is going to be making things fun. If you make things interesting and fun then you will get a lot more out of the students. I want my classroom to be the one the kids want to come to, not despise. So by making it like kindergarten, and allowing the children to play while they are leaning you'll have a much greater success in educating them.
